RONDELES FESTIVAL IN CASARABONELA
Casarabonela is celebrating the Fiesta de los Rondeles on 12 December, an event that has been declared a Fiesta of National Tourist Interest in Andalusia.
Fire takes on a leading role during the celebration, illuminating the procession. The patron saint of the village walks from the hermitage to the church square at midnight and is accompanied by villagers carrying lit oil lamps.
This custom has its roots in the 18th century, when the millers of Casarabonela wanted to thank the patron saint for the good olive harvest. Since then it has been celebrated in the municipality and you can to see it and experience the magic of the moment live.

CHRISTMAS RECYCLING WORKSHOP IN FUENGIROLA
At Christmas time, a lot of waste is generated due to the large amounts of purchases that are made. For this reason, and with the aim of expanding the imagination and creativity of users, this workshop is proposed. Knowledge about practical recycling will be acquired, carrying out different activities: wrapping gifts (techniques and materials), Christmas decorations, a Christmas tree with used catalogs and cardboard, balls of yarn for garlands, etc., etc…
It will be held on December 12, 13 and 14, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Colores building, in Los Boliches.
The registration can be made in the City Council registry, or by email to igualdad@fuengirola.org or in person on the 2nd floor of the Colores building.
NEW YEAR MARKET IN FUENGIROLA
From November 25 to December 18 on the Plaza de la Constitución is held the Fuengirola Christmas Market.
There you will find all kinds of artisans and businesses that are part of the city and develop an activity related to Christmas. This market is the perfect event to support local commerce and to buy local products. Do your Christmas shopping here!
The 17 wooden huts await you in the popular square of Fuengirola, full of innovative, original and imaginative items. Food, decoration and gifts are the main types of products you’ll find.
The Christmas Market will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the morning and from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the afternoon. For the second year there will be a great artificial snowfall that will take place on every Saturday.
