Supporting Basketball on the Costa del Sol
The commercial real estate division of ICCI Capital – Iberica Capital Partners ICP and Scandinavian Marbella Homes SMH will be present for two more seasons supporting and promoting Basketball on the Costa del Sol, Malaga, as official sponsor of Marbella Basket.
Marbella Basket makes a difference when it comes to promoting educational sport, and as a company we want to ensure that we support all initiatives that allow us to improve and support the values of sport in Spain. SMH intends to be an active sponsor and try to make a clear difference for young athletes, for families and for related institutions.
SMH has facilitated obtaining the covers of all the federated teams, in order to ensure image uniformity during the league and the tournaments that the club attends. In addition, it offers to participate significantly in the organization of events with international participation that the club wants to carry out and tries to support the participation of relevant sports figures in talks and other events, as well as everything that can help improve the organization for the next two campaigns.
After the signing of the agreement that took place between the two entities, Alejandro Rodríguez, president of Avatel Marbella Basket, expressed his satisfaction: “We are delighted to have the support of SMH. The official Covers are one of the most important elements for the participants and, without a doubt, with SMH we have the best guarantees of support for our Sport”.

Club Deportivo Marbella Basket, was born with the union of three academies (CB Marbella, CB Costa Marbella and CB Platero) in a unique training project with the idea of taking our players to the top, as well as responding to all the sports demands: recreational, training and high performance. The main objective is to BE A REFERENCE CLUB IN THE PROVINCE OF MÁLAGA AND IN ANDALUSIA in all senses and above all to give the possibility of training in the values that a sport as complete and exciting as basketball can offer to all the boys and girls of the Marbella municipality. The social mass that we will move with almost 600 players makes us the entity with the largest number of athletes in the city.
