CHRISTMAS LIGHTS IN MALAGA 2022
The Christmas lights in Malaga on Calle Larios have become an attraction, one more reason to visit Malaga on these special dates.
It is no longer just the spectacular decoration of Calle Larios, but something unique that was created in 2016, making the lights dance to the rhythm of the music, being the first European city to have it.
The lighting and inauguration of the Christmas lights in Malaga on Calle Larios in 2022 will take place on Saturday, November 26 at 7:00 p.m.
The Christmas lights will be on from 6:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. daily and until 2:00 a.m. on weekends and the eve of a holiday.
The Christmas decoration of Calle Larios in 2022 will be called “Heavenly Angels”. It will be composed of a total of 16 angels in 32 lateral columns, as well as 32 trails.
These impressive 4-meter-tall angels will welcome locals and visitors alike. Their 12-meter-long tails are designed with effervescent effects, starting in warm white and ending in a pure white full flash, like contrails that melt as they pass. This installation is completed with columns that decorate the posts. Warm and cold tones dress the golden structure, richly decorated with gold sequins and crystals.
SEASON 2022-2023 IN SIERRA NEVADA
Andalucía is not only famous for its wonderful beaches and old cities. One of the best Spanish ski resorts is located here in a mountain range called Sierra Nevada. It contains the highest point of continental Spain: Mulhacén, at 3479 metres (11414 ft) above the sea level.
It was announced that this year the slopes of Sierra Nevada will open on Saturday, December 3, if the snow conditions will permit!
To get to the Sierra Nevada ski resort you need to travel to Granada. It will take you less than 2 hours to get there from Marbella. From Granada to Sierra Nevada – around 30-40 minutes.
The resort has more than 110 km of slopes, 21 ski lifts and snow park. It is fun to visit not only in winter, summer activities are available too – bike park, race track and orientation circuits. The infrastructure also includes hotels, restaurants, etc.
